Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about how RST works—and what happens directly with suppliers.

RST helps you discover supplier information. Purchasing, payments and delivery remain outside RST; new listing intake, buyer signup and enquiry sending are currently closed.

What is RST?

Restaurant Supplier Thailand is a bilingual supplier-discovery directory for Thailand's restaurant and hospitality industry. It helps you find published supplier information, review options and contact suppliers through the channels available to you.

How do buyers use RST?

Search by keyword, category or service area, then read supplier profiles. All areas leaves the service-area filter blank; it is not a nationwide-delivery claim. Check products, coverage and terms directly with the supplier before buying.

How are suppliers listed?

RST can publish informational profiles from reviewed source material or supplier-provided information. A public profile may be unclaimed. Publication does not, by itself, mean that a business has confirmed its details or been verified by RST.

How do I claim an existing supplier listing?

If you are an authorized representative, use the claim option on the existing supplier profile and follow the review instructions. Access and evidence requirements apply. A claim is reviewed; it does not automatically create verified status or permission to publish changes.

Does RST sell products directly?

No. RST is a supplier-discovery platform, not the seller of suppliers' goods or services. Discuss product suitability, availability and purchasing terms with the supplier.

Does RST handle orders or payments?

No. RST does not process purchasing transactions or supplier payments. Orders, prices, payment arrangements and any commercial agreement are handled directly between buyer and supplier outside RST.

Does RST manage logistics or delivery?

No. Delivery, cold-chain requirements, fulfilment, returns and product issues must be arranged with the supplier. A directory service-area label is information to check, not an RST delivery promise.

What do claim, confirmation and verification states mean?

These are separate states. Unclaimed means a business has not claimed the profile. A reviewed claim establishes the accepted relationship to a listing, not automatic verification. Confirmation concerns information; verification concerns additional checks. Read the actual status shown on each profile—none is a guarantee of product quality or a purchase outcome.

How do I create a new supplier listing?

The List Your Business workflow is on hold. There is no active self-service new-listing intake, pricing or payment flow. Do not assume an account or prepared source record creates a public listing; any future addition needs the applicable review and publication approval.

How can I contact RST?

Use the Contact page or info@restaurantsupplierthailand.com for general RST questions. The displayed message form cannot send or save an enquiry. Contact information · info@restaurantsupplierthailand.com

How do language and site access work?

Use the destination-language flag at the bottom right to switch between English and Thai. It preserves the current route, search query and fragment where supported. Public browsing does not grant private buyer, supplier or staff access; those journeys keep their existing sign-in and eligibility checks.

What should buyers do if they need support?

First check the directory filters and the information on the supplier profile. For an existing buyer account, use the account pages available to you. For RST questions use the existing company contact; for orders, payment or delivery issues contact the supplier directly. Do not send passwords or verification codes.

What should suppliers do if they need support?

Review the supplier-information page and the existing listing's claim/account options. Use the authorized account and review process for corrections. Claim, content review and publication remain separate; a request or draft is not public approval. Use the existing company contact for RST questions.

Can I send a supplier enquiry through RST now?

Buyer enquiry sending is currently closed. The Contact preview does not activate it. Use only the contact/account options actually available on a supplier profile; do not expect a disabled action to send a message.

Is new buyer registration open?

New buyer signup is currently closed. Existing eligible accounts retain their available access. The redesign does not change membership, eligibility, confirmation or verification rules.

What if information is missing or outdated?

Treat unknown information as unknown, not as a positive claim. Confirm important details with the business. Authorized supplier corrections follow review; contact the existing company channel about a directory issue without sending sensitive documents through the preview form.

How should I compare suppliers?

Review the published information available to you and, where eligible, the existing comparison/account options. Compare relevant specifications, service areas and commercial terms directly. An image or category card is illustrative, not a recommendation or supplier endorsement.

Can I discuss a partnership with RST?

Partnerships is one of the Contact page topics. Use the existing company contact for an actual discussion. The topic selection does not create a partnership, send an enquiry or guarantee a response time.
